A Watched Pot Never Boils wonders, if waiting is inevitable, how do we deal with this interval? Caught in stillness, the performance considers waiting not as a passive state, but as an active moment in which the history of waiting and lived experience can help us navigate the emotional and temporal aspects of our present moment. Waiting here is felt primarily on a bodily level, influenced by the everyday dramas that different situations bring. Whether preparing for a first date, queuing in line at a shop, or living together, the performance reflects on how waiting is always related to another.
